PUMPKIN TAKE-AWAY Bible Verse Memorization Activity

BIBLE VERSE: “God loved us and sent His Son” (1 John 4:10) or a verse of your choice.

PREPARATION: Tape a word of your selected Bible verse to each pumpkin.

ACTIVITY: Line up the pumpkins in the correct order. Have children say the verse several times in unison. Choose a child to take away one pumpkin. Say the verse together. Choose another pupil to remove another pumpkin. Say the verse. Continue all pumpkins are gone and the verse is being said from memory.
