FREEDOM IN CHRIST CRAFT

Supplies Needed: Blue, black, red, white, green construction paper; title strip; word strips; crayons and markers; glue; scissors.

Preparation: Trace a 7″ diameter circle, fold it into fourths and cut to make patterns. Make enough black, red, white and green pieces for your group. The title strip can read: How to Have Freedom in Christ. The other word strips are as follows:

Black: All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).

Red: Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).

White: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Green: Read my Bible every day. Pray & ask God to help me. Tell others about Jesus.

Activity: The children glue the 4 pieces of the circle starting with the black at the left, the red at the top, the white at the right and the green at the bottom. The words strips are then glued. A star can be attached by the black as the starting place, with arrows going clockwise. The children can then decorate any way they wish using crayons or markers.
