SAMUEL LISTENS TO GOD – Craft

Needed for Each Child: 3 pieces of chenille wire (8″, 7″ and 5″), 1 1/2″ x 1/2″ Bible verse strip, transparent tape.

Activity: On the 8″ piece of chenille wire, fold approx. 4″ into a circle for the head. Attach the 5″ piece for arms with one twist around the body. Fold the 7″ piece in half for legs. Fold 1/2″ of body up to hold legs. This allows Samuel to sit up and lay down. Arms and feet can be made by making slight bends. Attach the verse strip to one arm with tape. Encourage the boys and girls to retell the Bible story at home using the figure and sleeping mat.
