Shhhhh. . . Did you hear that?  There it is again!  Just stop for a moment and listen to all God has made.  Yes.  Listen!  Isn’t it great to hear the sound of God’s creation?  Why, it’s just like a non-stop creation concert.

Everyone of God’s creatures is adding to the song.  Do you hear the hummingbirds fluttering their teeny tiny wings?  How about the grasshoppers with their steady chirping beat?  It’s all music played for the Creator.

Have you ever wondered why we sing praises to our Heavenly Father?  The Bible tells us in the book of Psalms that God takes great pleasure in the praises of His people.

The same God who made the delicate hummingbird gave you a voice to sing praises.  So, whether you are on the playground laughing, leaving for school, cleaning your room, or where ever you find yourself, God wants you to celebrate His creation with the voice Hs gave YOU.

The God of creation loves you more than you know.  Remember, your singing makes Him happy when the songs come from your heart.  Sing out!

Discussion Questions:

1.  What happens inside when we sing praises to God?  (Happy, joyful)

2.  What are we doing when we sing praises to God?  (Worshipping God the Almighty Creator; showing our love to Him)

Action Step:  Make a list of praise songs which you know and put the titles in a bag.  Each day this week, draw out a title and sing the song.
