GIANT BOARD GAME Bible Verse Memorization

Directions:

1. From a cardboard box cut and tape together a cube. Cover cube with white paper and make dots with a marker to resemble a die.

2. On 12 sheets of paper write the words, “Say Deuteronomy 6:18” (or whatever your verse for the day is). Write typical game directions on the others sheets: Roll again. Walk ahead two spaces. Go back one space. Go back to start. Trade places with another player, etc.

3. Lay game spaces out to form a large rectangle. Use loops of masking tape to tape spaces to the floor if necessary.

4. Let each child make a name marker by folding an index card in half and writing his/her name on one side.

5. Let four children play the game at a time, rolling the die and moving their markers along the spaces.
