WHEN THE BODY MOVES, THE BRAIN REMEMBERS

When the Body Moves the Brain RemembersCreative dramatics brings Bible stories and characters to life.  Information is presented in a transforming way.  Children become actively and emotionally involved with Biblical characters.  When kids experience the Bible characters’ feelings and decisions, they are more likely to apply those lessons everyday life.

Dramatic presentations capture attention and help kids remember.  After 30 days, children remember: 10% of what they hear, 15% of what they see, 20% of what they hear and see, 40% of what they discuss, and 80% of what they do.  Every time children move in an organized, practiced manner full brain activation and integration occurs and the door to learning opens.

Drama creates enjoyable learning.  Proverbs 15:2 says: “A wise teacher makes learning a joy.”
